Question:

Are degreed programs available for people interested in pursuing culinary medicine?

— Kathleen Campbell

Answer:

Not yet. So you can get a culinary medicine certificate if you are a dietician, a nurse and um, a clinician nurse dietician. You have like a medical clinical type of degree and you can get certified at the Culinary Medicine College, something like that. Which was started by somebody who started one of the culinary medicine programs for degree professionals with the Food Codes Academy. I have made sure that I have gone to the American Culinary Federation and you can receive 510, um, continuing education hours to go towards, um, a certification, a national certification when that happens. We're not there yet. It's still, we're still building.
